Local Choices at the Farmers Market
The Denver Farmers Market celebrates local and seasonal choices each week! From fresh produce like tomatoes, potatoes, melons, zucchini, garlic, and microgreens to farm-raised meats and eggs, honey, jams, fresh-baked breads and treats, handmade goods, local art, and more, there is plenty to discover as summer winds down.
This week, Bird-Friendly Denver joins the Little Sprouts Corner with a fun bird-themed wind chime painting activity for kids. Chick-fil-A also returns as the featured food truck after selling out during its last market visit!
The Garden Game wraps up September 4, so don't miss your chance to participate! Pick up a garden plot card at the Denver Public Library, then visit the eight participating downtown businesses and the Farmers Market to collect vegetable stickers and fill your Mile Wide garden. Completed cards can be turned in at the Farmers Market on September 3 or the Library by September 4 to receive a special Farmers Market voucher and be entered to win one of two $25 Destination Denver gift cards. No purchase is required to play!
The Denver Farmers Market is held every Thursday from 4:30-6:30 PM at Prestien Park until roadwork is completed. Shop local, support local vendors and downtown businesses, and enjoy Thursday evenings in the Mile Wide City. And stay tuned—something festive is in the works for the final market of the season!
