It's All About Apples at the Farmers Market

The Denver Farmers Market is leaning into the season with everyone’s favorite fall fruit—apples! Local apples are now available at the market and will take center stage this week as we celebrate the flavors of fall.

In the Little Sprouts Corner, Iowa State University Extension & Outreach Bremer County will offer a fun activity and apple-tasting experience for our youngest marketgoers. The market will also welcome Paha Cider of Waverly as a special pop-up vendor, featuring modern American hard cider made with locally sourced, natural ingredients. Boyd’s Food Truck & Catering joins us as the featured food truck, serving cheese curds, tenderloins, smoked meats, and more to enjoy at the market or take home.

The Denver Farmers Market is held every Thursday from 4:30–6:30 PM through October 15 at Prestien Park. Shop a great selection of local produce, sourdough breads and baked goods, honey and jams, locally raised meats and eggs, specialty goat’s milk products, local art, sewn and handcrafted goods, cotton candy, and more!

With accessible parking, covered picnic table seating, and plenty of space to gather with friends and neighbors, the market is a great way to enjoy a fall evening in Denver. Make a night of it by visiting nearby downtown businesses open late for dining, drinks, shopping, and services.
